The new Chiru Nanulak is a long-tail titanium expedition bike built to excel in races and rides through some of the planet’s most extreme environments. Take a look at the small French brand’s latest purpose-built model here…
Hawk-eyed readers may have spotted the all-new Chiru Nanulak in our Rigs of the 2025 Iditarod Trail Invitational last week, and the small titanium-focused French brand just launched it as their latest model. Born out of a collaboration between Willy Molonia of PA Cycling and Chiru founder Pierre-A Le Magnan, the Nanulak was designed and built for extreme environments in which fat tires are the most suitable options for navigating rugged terrain, especially the unforgiving Alaskan backcountry, where temperatures can reach negative 40 degrees.

The Grade 9 3Al/2.5V titanium Chiru Nanulak frame features long chainstays for enhanced traction on snow, an eye-popping array of mounts, internal rear dynamo light routing, a SRAM UDH, rear dropouts with 20mm of adjustability, an 83mm BSA bottom bracket, and post-mount brakes with room for a 180mm rotor. It’ll clear 26″ x 5.0″, 27.5 ” x 4.5″, or 29 x 3.0″ tires, and its unique multi-standard crankset system enables easy switching between wider fat-bike Q-factors and narrower Q-factor cranks for running it in 29+ mode. Buyers can choose between a rigid ENVE carbon or CEC titanium fork or spec it with a 100/120mm suspension fork.

The new Chiru Nanulak is available in three sizes (S, M, L) to suit riders from 5’4″ to 6’5″ tall. The price for a frame is €2,890 ($3,000). Buyers can also add an Old Man Mountain Divide Fat rack and pick from an assortment of matching CEC titanium bits, including seatposts, stems, bottle cages, and handlebars.
