I'm going to be in Lusaka, Zambia in May and have a week to bike the country. I read many cyclist come through on the Great East Road but was wondering if there are other, less traffic-heavy options people can recommend? Also, does anyone have local knowledge about bike rental in Lusaka? Thank so much all for this wonderful community!

Hey there, I'm interested in buying a Esker Lorax but I have no way to test ride one. I have test road a Fenrir in both M and L, for me the L was a better fit. I know stand-over is subjective and Esker doesnt list theres at all. Does anyone like a Lorax L and have feedback on the stand over and fit? With riding shoes on and feed spread I am 32 inseam..

A dear friend of mine generously gave me a large VO Polyvalent frame after I expressed interest in building up a frame from the ground up for the first time. He insisted that I could make the frame work in spite of the fact that I'm 5'7, while other informed friends in the bike industry expressed doubt that the bike would be comfortable; is the frame simply too big for me? My ideal build is a drop-bar do-it-all daily rider.

Hi everyone, I'd like to replace the brakes on my gravel bike. I currently have mechanical Tektro brakes. I'd like to stick with mechanical brakes. Do you think the TRP Spyres are a good upgrade, or should I switch to the TRP Hy/rd hybrids? Do you have any other suggestions? Thanks everyone. Davide

Hi, I will be riding from Samarcande in Uzbekistan to Dushambe in Tadjikistan. I have identified 2 possibles routes : 1. Shortest, through the famous Anzob tunnel, passing it on a lorry 2. A bit more east, through the Pereval Rost pass. Which is the most advisable, not only on road condition but also on supplies for the option 2. Thanks a lot !

Building an 2025 Esker Japhy and trying to decide on some solid downcountry tires. According to Esker the Japhy can run up to 2.8. On my current bike I am running 2.6 Maxxis Minion DHR II/DHF. I want to go lighter and faster without sacrificing too much toughness.

Bike shoes for bikepacking on flat pedals. I want a shoe that'd be good all around comfortable shoe for those hike-a-bike moments as well as decent for days off. Main goal is a one shoe for all the things in order to reduce packing weight while keeping comfortable-ish. In advance, appreciate the suggestions.

Could someone point me to a bicycle air travel bag (alternative to bike box or hard case) that I could strap to my rear rack after I assemble a bike at the airport. I don’t intend to tour with it. I am willing to trade the impracticality of a wheeless- and less padded bike bag for the ability to roll it up and get around town with it. I’m on a medium hardtail (29x2.6) that I swap between a 140mm fork and a full rigid. 420mm chain stays and 750mm bars. Thanks.

Does anyone have direct comparative experience with both the Coros Dura and Edge 1040 solar? I'm in need of a computer upgrade but I don't know if I trust the Dura given the early issues. I currently have an Edge 830 which is giving me tons of issues.
