Brother Cycles Mehteh 50mm 700c vs 2,1" 650b - I'm riding my Mehteh currently on DT Swiss GR1600 Spline 700c with 45mm Panaracer Gravelking X1 and do have some pain on longer Bikepacking Trips in rough terrain. So I am thinking abaout upgradig to 50mm 700c or actually chaning the whole setup to 650b with 2,1" tires. I heard that the last option will lower the bottom bracket so that it leads to bump the pedal in the ground on rough terrains. I am riding mixed terrains, with asphalt, bumby forest paths and sigle tracks. But definitely as much off road as I can find here in Germany to avoid asphalt and traffic. What would you guys recommend? Thank you so much (:

Not one of the experts, but I have worked with a couple bike fitters, and this was the key for me to be able to ride long days. If you have health coverage for it in Germany, I recommend you go see one, as it will inevitably save you more money in the long run (not buying all sorts of gear that wont work for you), and then use the Bikepacking.com discount codes to get whatever parts you need for the bike to make it better!

Hey Marvin, what kind of pain are you having, exactly? And are you on drop bars or flats? Wider tires will generally help make your bike more comfortable, as will running a lower pressure, but there are many other factors. Maybe you are too stretched out? Maybe you need new grip tape, grips, or handlebars? Give us some more details, and we can try to help!
