I’m getting ready to travel internationally with my bike. The airline (and multiple other people) have advised me to get additional insurance for my bike. Any recommendations or advice??

Member Since 201294 Verified ScoreI haven't heard about specific insurance for flying with a bike, but I would think standard travel insurance would cover belongings. I'd click around on some of those to check.

You might also want to check in with your home or rental insurance provider, as I know we specifically pay a little extra to have good insurance that covers our bikes when we're at home + travelling.
