  • Does any one have experience with the Blackburn Cage with hose clamps? I'm afraid that it would slide with 5L dry bag (with 3kg?!) on some more bumpy terrain. Thanks

  • Howdy Folks. I’m building up a Ti Fargo frame after my last was stolen. Last bike was a 2x but I am thinking about 1x for this. I want drop bars and a large gear ratio and 1x. I know folks have done cool setups with some after market parts. I really don’t like the new GRX hoods for some reason. Looking for advice and inspiration.

  • Hi! Trying to plan a MTB adventure in Barcelona, Spain. Can anyone recommend a good bike rental place where to get a decent MTB bike. (either good hardtail or full suspension bike). And would you recommend hardtail or full-suspension for trails around Barcelona. First time in Spain, looking forward to equip correctly for nice day rides with friends. Thanks!

  • Hi!! Trying to plan a winter fat biking trip in the Iceland Highlands. Does anyone have recommendations on routes or areas to focus my route planning? I've never been to Iceland but do a lot of groomed and ungroomed fat biking in Colorado. Thanks!!

  • Hello! I'm planning an Iceland Divide trip for next summer and need to get some bigger capacity gear. I've done lots of backpacking there and know my general food requirements of 3 bars, 3 oatmeal packets, 2 dehydrated dinners and some other sort of lunch thing. I'm strongly considering two 16L Tailfin Mini Panniers for my food storage on this trip. Does anyone have a take on if 16L would be enough for 7-10 days worth of food? Thanks!

  • Hello! My wife and I would like to go on a bike packing trip together on our tandem bike sometime next year either over the summer or over winter break. We prefer routes that keep us away from traffic and we would really enjoy doing a route out west. Our favorite kinds of trails are real trails double track or single track as long as the single track is not very technical or too tight to make turns on the longer tandem most of the time. I am making this post to ask for help choosing a route. I would love to hear your recommendations! I have also attached a picture of our bike. We are currently running 29x2.5” tires with a rigid fork. We also have a 120mm suspension fork that we can install.

  • So how difficult is Porcupine Rim with a loaded bike? My riding partner and I are headed out to ride the Kokopelli in a couple weeks and he's hung up on the Porcupine Rim being rated as "difficult" by a number of trail databases. He's not a fan of hike-a-bike and the notion of downhill hike-a-bike is 'Type 3' fun for him. That said, he's a very strong intermediate MTB'er on a hardtail plus bike, we've bikepacked in the area a couple of times and I have no doubts in his abilities. Porcupine Rim seems like icing on the Kokopelli cake to me, but if you have any other experience either for or against, I'd appreciate your relating them. Thanks!
