Sometimes life hurls you over the bars (metaphorically speaking) and you no longer have a stoker for shared mountain biking adventures. Thus, time to find a new owner for my tandem mountain bike.
Fandango tandem frames (made by Ventana Mountain Bikes) are constructed from a large diameter aluminum tubeset so they are burley. Yet, the frame has the right amount of flex for rough surfaces. The White Brothers suspension fork, high volume tires, Thudbuster seatpost, and comfortable handlebars, also help curb vibrations.
Equally burley are the 40-spoke White Industries tandem hubs and Sun MTX33 rims. The 20 mm front hub and tandem-rated fork helps minimize front end flex on those steep downhill runs.
The e-bike rated Magura MT5s and huge rotors are more than up for stopping.
