Hard to part with this but I guess I'm just getting old -- My trusty Thermarest XTherm 4-season pad. It's the short version, only 48 inches long, for extreme weight savings and small packed size. Weighs only 9.7 oz. It's still the regular 20" wide. 2.5" thick.
Purchased around 2015, but works like new (and Thermarest has an awesome warranty and customer service). I attribute it's longevity to the very durable 70d material on the bottom of the pad (same material they use on the current XTherms). It does has a lower r-value than the current model (5.7 vs 7.3). I've slept down to -5 F and been comfy.
Unfortunately they don't make the short version anymore. I'm 5' 10" and when I sleep on my side I'm entirely on the pad. You can stuff anything extra (backpack, clothes, etc.) at the bottom for extra cushion under the lower legs while laying on your belly/back.
$125 gets it shipped anywhere in the lower 48 states.
