American Classic has updated its entire gravel tire lineup for 2022 with improved durability and a new brown sidewall option. Find more details and photos here…

After relaunching their entire lineup last year, American Classic just announced an update to their road and gravel tires that might be of interest to anyone looking for some affordable new rubber. While they’re no longer priced at just $35, the entire lineup is still quite competitively marked at $45.

On the gravel side, American Classic is retaining its current tread patterns but has incorporated its new Stage 5S Armor on all of its tubeless-ready tires. The design features a nylon skin and 120 TPI casing that they say offers “best in class puncture protection with a drop in weight.” All American Classic gravel tires continue to be offered in 700 x 40mm, 700 x 50mm, and 650 x 47mm sizes, and the Kimberlite is also now offered in a 700 x 35mm version. Every tire is now available with a new brown sidewall in addition to the existing tan and black.

American Classic explains the price increase was necessary to guarantee product availability and to maintain quality. They’ve also announced they’ll be working with retailers and distributors alongside their direct-to-consumer web store.
