The new Shimano CUES polished silver groupset was released to pay homage to the brand’s longstanding history in metalworking, offering riders the performance of CUES components with a more classic aesthetic. The special-edition polished-silver components are available in the new drop-bar CUES configuration, which features a crankset, levers, hydraulic brake calipers, hubs, and a rear derailleur and cassette.

Readied to appear on some of the show bikes at Bespoked in Dresden this weekend, this polished silver edition of CUES is unlike other groupset releases in the brand’s recent history. Though it remains unclear how much stock will be available for North American customers, the polished silver groupset will soon be added to the brand’s existing offerings and should be regularly available. Costs for the groupset components are $95 for the RD-U6000 10/11-speed rear derailleur, $80 for the cassette, $130 for the 1x crankset, $715 for the levers, and $130 for the hydraulic calipers.
