In this year’s NorthCape 4000, cyclists rode over 4,000km through 10 countries, finishing at the Arctic Circle. There were 141 participants and only 65 finishers this time around. We reported on the first pair to finish the route, Michele Miani and Matti Koster, with a time of 12 days, 23 hours, and 50 minutes, and we also shared finisher Sophie Gateau’s story. With the 2020 NorthCape 4000 already scheduled for July 25th, taking off from Lake Garda, Italy, and registration opening on December 2nd, the organizers have released a tribute to this year’s event that’s worth checking out to see what next year’s participants are getting themselves into.
