The Twin Six Standard Ti Rando 2.0 just received a major redesign. Pre-orders are open now, with special pricing through January 16th. The Ti Rando 2.0 now has thru-axles, flat mount disc brakes, a new dropout system, increased tire clearance, and more. Find all the details here…
The Twin Six Standard Ti Rando had remain unchanged for five years, existing as a versatile randonneur-style gravel bike with loads of potential. The steel version was updated this spring, which we wrote about here, and Twin Six just announced a major update to their premium titanium version, and preorders went live as of January 1st.
So, what’s new? Quite a lot. The frame has been completely redesigned and now features an elegantly curved top tube, 12mm thru-axles, and flat mount disc brakes. The Standard Ti Rando 2.0 now comes equipped with the T6 Middle Finger dropout system, which provides some drivetrain versatility and a replaceable derailleur hanger. It’s great to see more mounting options, including top tube bosses, plus the same three main triangle bottle and down tube mounts. There is also a new optional carbon fork with increased tire clearance and triple pack mounts and fender compatibility. Updated chainstays provide room for 700 x 45mm or 27.5 x 2.25″ tires, and full-length external cable housing makes maintenance a breeze.
