Based in the mountains of western Montana, Casey is a long time cartographer of Adventure Cycling Association.
He has been labeled a pioneer both by Sierra magazine, for his numerous bikepacking trips to remote fire lookout towers, and by BIKE magazine, for his far-flung excursions that involve carrying a mountain bike on his back. While his photography has been found in DirtRag, Adventure Journal, and Adventure Cyclist magazine, his maps have been featured in many publications across a wide range of topics, including the New York Times. During his stay at Adventure Cycling Association, he has spearheaded projects as diverse as creating the identity for the United States Bicycle Route System, to designing, researching, and mapping the Idaho Hot Springs Mountain Bike Route.
