Belle Cycles A.T.E.R. / All Terrain Exploration Rig

One of the many submissions we received for our upcoming Rigs of the 2020 Atlas Mountain Race post was Christian Meier’s Mad Max-inspired Belle Cycles A.T.E.R., or All Terrain Exploration Rig, that was built specifically for the event. The bike’s creator, Enrico “Kico” Bellé of Belle Cycles, calls it, “A one-of-a-kind beast, hungry for scratches and scars.” The paintwork and headbadge were both done by Barcelona-based painter Kilian Ramirez Caballero. The team at The Service Course sent us a bunch of shots of the bike as it was being built up and taken out for its inaugural ride, which you’ll find below.

Ahead of the Atlas Mountain Race, here’s what Service Course founder Chistian Meier had to say about his new bike:

“The A.T.E.R. is something I had been thinking about for a while, and the Atlas Mountain Race was the perfect excuse to go for it. The concept was to build a truly “All Terrain Exploration Rig”, to handle an exceptionally wide variety of off-road terrain. The project was also inspired by Mad Max and the idea of being chased through the wild, remote desert…
