SNEAK PEAKS 2024

SNEAK PEAKS is a fixed route, unsupported, single-stage bikepacking expedition that starts and finishes in Bolzano. It crosses the Italian Dolomites and Triglav Mountains in Slovenia. The clock does not stop and there are no prizes. It follows gravel, single and double track, tarmac roads and old colonial pistes that have long been forgotten and fallen into disrepair.

There is some walking, and at times there are great distances between resupply points. Riders will have to decide for one out of three routes: ENTREE (500km, 19.000hm), CLASSIC (750km, 29.000hm) and ADVENTURE (1,100km, 39.000hm).

The highlights of SNEAK PEAKS are the check points, that have been carefully selected by the race director Raphael Albrecht. Each check point is a Refugio, located on top of the magnificent mountain ranges, waiting for the riders with the best pasta, pizza and coffee.
