Announcing the 2021 Bombtrack Beyond Lineup

As part of Bombtrack’s 2021 bike rollout, the Beyond lineup has been simplified to include just three different models: the Beyond 1, Beyond 2, and Beyond Junior. Find a complete breakdown on new specs and build kits below, accompanied by product launch videos and photos.

2021 Bombtrack Beyond 1

The Beyond 1 is still based around a double butted Chromoly Steel frame, but has a completely revised design, including a new tapered head tube, rack and fender mounts, and a rear light mount. It comes complete with a 2×10 drivetrain, 27.5 x 2.0″ tires on x-small and small sizes and 29 x 2.0″ on medium and large. The Beyond 1 now comes with Bombtrack’s GRAD and ARC disc brake hubs with 15 and 12mm through axles, wider 23mm internal with rims, and WTB Ranger Light / Fast Rolling tires on all sizes.

2021 Bombtrack Beyond 1 Build Kit

The Beyond 1 sees an entirely new build kit for 2021, now based around a SRAM 2×10 drivetrain, complete with a SRAM GX rear derailleur and Microshift front derailleur. Here’s the full build kit:

2021 Bombtrack Beyond 2

The Beyond 2 is an entirely new version of their adventure touring rig, based on feedback received from users in the field. It is still based around fast-rolling 29″ wheels, has loads of mounts, and wide handlebars. It now comes with a complete Supernova dynamo lighting system, including front and rear lights, plus a front rack.

Based on feedback from their customers, the Beyond 2 build kit has been entirely revamped for 2021. It now comes complete with a minimal front rack, dynamo hub, and dynamo-powered lights. It’s based around a 1×11 SRAM Apex drivetrain and TRP Spyre mechanical brakes. Here’s the full build kit:

2021 Bombtrack Beyond Junior

The 2021 Bombtrack Beyond Junior remains mostly unchanged, besides being specced with their new Bombtrack ARC disc brake hubs and a new paint job. The Beyond Junior is their child-specific Beyond model, based heavily off of the larger Beyond 1 sized bikes. It comes complete with 24-inch wheels, a light aluminium frame, and flared bars keep things manageable for smaller riders. A 9-speed MicroShift Advent drivetrain, with short-reach lever designed specifically for smaller hands, and clearance for 2.1″ tires, has the Beyond Junior looking pretty awesome for those 1.3 to 1.6 meters tall (4.25-5.35 feet), which might include some adults as well.
