After many thousands of collective miles of rafting, hiking, and biking in Cairns, Bedrock is sharing a major update to the complete Cairn sandal lineup. According to Bedrock, the Cairn Evo and Evo PRO are more now durable and grippy than ever. The Cairn Evo has been updated with Vibram’s new XS TREK EVO compound, which is supposed to grip better on loose rock, in the water, and even on snow. The sole-hugger wing now also features a stitch box that buries threads and reduces abrasion. The toe-triangle on the 3D models has been minimized, and the top profile of the original Cairn sandal has been reconfigured to accommodate a broader range of feet shapes and sizes.

The update also includes the launch of the brand new Bedrock Cairn Evo C. Based on customer requests, the Cairn Evo C is built around a thicker, padded footbed that’s designed to be ideal for lounging, all-day strolls, and more casual outdoor pursuits. Looking at the thickness of its sole, it might make a solid riding sandal too. The entire Cairn Evo line is available in five models, along with a load of fresh colorways.

2024 Bedrock Cairn EVO C

Alongside the new Cairn Evo launch, Bedrock introduced a new color for their Mountain Clog, Desert Clay. The Mountain Clog is Bedrock’s shoulder season sandal, with added protection from the elements without sacrificing a three-point strap system and a grippy Vibram Megagrip outsole. The new Desert Clay option is made from Suede Leather and comes in a wide range of unisex sizes.

The Cairn Evo line is priced between $115 and $140 USD, with the Mountain Clogs coming in at $160. The entire collection drops today at 10:00 a.m. MST at BedrockSandals.com.
