Pre-orders recently opened for the 2024 Brother Cycles Kepler and Mehteh, which are both available in two fresh color options with matching forks. Take a closer look and find out how to secure yours here…
The Kepler and Mehteh are UK-based Brother Cycles’ most capable gravel bikes. Originally released in 2015, the Kepler is just as competent as an all-weather commuter as it is a long-distance, all-road tourer. It received a major update for 2024, including a beautiful lugged steel fork and more mounts, and it’s available in two new color options. The Mehteh debuted in 2019, positioned as a “fast and agile” gravel bike with a carbon fork and bigger tire clearance than the Kepler. Just like the Kepler, the Mehteh is also available in two fresh color options for 2024. Find details on both below.
2024 Brother Cycles Kepler
We shared details on the updated 2024 Brother Cycles Kepler last month, but for those who missed it, it’s worth knowing that it received some significant and promising changes. For 2024, the Kepler features an all-new lugged steel fork with dynamo light wiring, internal cable routing for the rear brake, a brazed seat collar, bottle mounts under the downtube, and a fresh metal oak leaf head badge. It’s being offered in two color options: Mellow Yellow and Teal is Real.
The Kepler can run either 700c or 650b wheels and has clearance for 700 x 45mm or 650b x 48mm tires. The fork and frame are made from 4130 Chromoly steel. It has loads of mounts for bottles, racks, and fenders, and for 2024, it will only be offered as a frameset (frame + fork) directly through Brother, but one of their many dealers can assist with a complete build. The 2024 Brother Cycles Kepler costs £799 (inc. VAT) for those in the UK, or £665.83 (exc. import taxes) for anyone outside the UK. See more at BrotherCycles.com.
2024 Brother Cycles Mehteh
The 2024 Brother Cycles Mehteh hasn’t received a similar overhaul but is still based around a Reynolds 725 steel frame, matching carbon fork, and clearance for 650b x 2.2″ or 700c x 50mm tires. It has three bottle mounts, triple pack mounts on the fork legs, stealth dropper post routing, and the fork has dynamo routing and flip chip dropout to adjust the fork rake. The 2024 Mehteh color options are Moonrise or Tequila Sunrise.
The Brother Cycles Mehteh frameset costs £1,099 (inc. VAT) for those in the UK or £832.50 (exc. import taxes) for those living elsewhere. Just like the Kepler, the Mehteh won’t be available as a complete build for 2024, so if that’s what you’re after, you’ll need to talk to your local Brother Cycles dealer.
