Transition Returns to its Roots with an all-new TransAM Hardtail

We’re always happy to report when a full-suspension-focused mountain bike brand goes back to its roots and announces a steel hardtail. Originally released back in 2014, the Transition TransAM was long overdue for a refresh after a seven-year hiatus. However, Transition reports that the latest iteration of their trail hardtail is only back in the lineup for a limited time. Read on for details.

2024 Transition TransAM Geo

The new Transition TransAM gets a 150mm fork, modernized geometry, 29-inch wheels, two classic color schemes, and two bottle mounts on the downtube. According to Transition, “The updated geo encourages hard-charging but rewards thoughtful line choice. It orchestrates a fast-paced ballet through the landscape of your choosing.
