The newly released 7Roads PackTrain Rack uses a simple, bolt-on mounting system, has six threaded mounts on each side, and is available in three widths. Take a closer look at the latest release from the Ukrainian brand here…

Ukraine’s 7Roads has been teasing a rear rack over the last few months, and it’s finally here. The new 7Roads PackTrain Rack is made from steel and uses a simple bolt-on mounting system that works on any bike with rear rack mounts. To accommodate various frame styles and tire sizes, they’re offering three platform widths. The 10cm version is for light touring/gravel setups or tires up to 2.25″ wide. The 12cm version is the most versatile, with clearance for up to 2.5″ tires. The 14cm version is for plus-sized tires or larger loads, offering clearance for up to 3.0″ tires.

The PackTrain Rack has threaded mounting points on both vertical struts. There are four on the longer struts for cargo cages, and two on the shorter struts for standard bottle cages or other bolt-on accessories. There’s also a dedicated rear light mount that’s still visible with gear mounted to the rack’s top or sides. Because the struts bolt onto the top platform, it can also be disassembled and packed flat for travel. There are also four mounting points under the platform designed to secure the harness for 7Roads’ PackTrain Rack Top Bag.

The 10cm version (with the light mount and hardware) weighs 870 grams (1.9 pounds) and has been tested for up to 20 kilograms (44 pounds). Each width option costs €127, and the optional Rack Top Bag costs €141. The racks are all handmade by Sergey Romanov of Ride Good Rack in Ukraine.
