Alex Kowalski and Eric House were the only singlespeeders at the 2025 Atlas Mountain Race, finishing the 1,300-kilometer route in just over seven days. The Ozark Gravel Cyclists recently put on story night where Alex had the chance to share a bit about his background, how he got into bikepacking, and the gear he used at the Atlas Mountain Race. The presentation night was hosted at Pack Rat Outdoor Center in Fayetteville, Arkansas, and wouldn’t have been possible without the support of Experience Fayetteville.
