Building Momentum is a new workshop series organized by our friend Moe Nadeau, the Route Steward for the newly launched West Kootenay Bikepacking Route Network. It is a women’s-specific bikepacking workshop built by women. It is a transformative, four-week series designed to empower women and non-binary individuals to explore bikepacking confidently.

The series takes place in Nelson, British Columbia, between May 27th and June 22nd, 2025, and offers a supportive, inclusive space for participants to build essential skills, forge connections, and grow their confidence in the outdoors. The event culminates with an overnighter on the Frog Peak Loop. Workshop topics include bike maintenance, health and wellness in the backcountry, metal resilience, and preparing your bike.
