Cane Creek just announced limited quantities of titanium eeWings cranks in a tie-dye finish…
Asheville, NC based Cane Creek Components just released an extremely limited quantity of eeWings titanium cranksets in a unique tie-dye finish. The eeWings Tie-Dye are made from the same high-grade titanium as the standard eeWings cranks—which I’ve been using for over a year with much love—but are hand-finished in a blue to purple tie-dye color giving each crank a unique character. This makes each crank a one-of-a-kind.
eeWings Tie-Dye are available in mountain sizing only with both 170mm and 175mm arm lengths available. Like the traditional eeWings Mountain cranks, the eeWings Tie-Dye have a titanium 30mm spindle and are compatible with BSA73mm, PF92/PF89.5 and 392EVO bottom brackets, as well as PF30 and BB30 bottom brackets with outboard bearing configurations. The cranks weigh in at 400 grams—the same weight range as typical carbon cranks—but, according to Cane Creek, 20% to 30% stiffer.
The eeWings Tie-Dye are backed by a 10-year limited warranty. Changes and wear to the color are expected as the cranks are ridden, which will not be covered by the warranty, according to the company. An optional clear adhesive surface protector will be included to help ensure that the finish lasts with regular use.
The eeWings Tie-Dye cranks retail for $1,100 and are available in extremely limited quantities. Orders may be placed through any Cane Creek retailer or factory-direct through canecreek.com, however, orders will be fulfilled on a first-come, first-served basis and inventory is not guaranteed.
