The new Bags by Bird Lil’ Tail Grab is a smaller handlebar bag with a quick access opening that looks perfect for big-ride essentials. See additional details and more photos here…
Our friend Jay Ritchey over at Bags by Bird (BXB) in Tucson, Arizona, just released a clever new handlebar bag that looks perfect for ride essentials, snacks, or even a small mirrorless camera. The new Bags by Bird Lil’ Tail Grab is the same size as their Bernie Bar Bag, but the latter opens away from the rider while the Lil’ Tail Grab’s opening folds down on top of the stem area, securing around the stem bolts with a cinchable shock cord. This makes opening and closing the bag a breeze while riding.
The Lil’ Tail Grab has a 3L capacity, there is a front slip stretch pocket, and like most of BXB’s bags, it’s shape is reinforced with a rigid body liner. There are reinforced Hypalon strap points at the handlebars, back, and bottom of the bag, and it secures to the bars using two Voile Nano straps. The bag requires 7″ from the bottom of the handlebar clamp to the tire when using two foam spacers, which is what BXB recommends for proper cable clearance.
- Capacity: 3L
- Dimensions: 5.5 x 8”
- Material: X-pac outer/400d packcloth interior
- Weight: 226 grams (X50 X Pac)
- Place of Manufacture: Arizona, USA
- Price: $105 USD
The Lil’ Tail Grab is available for preorder now with deliveries expected in the next six weeks or so. Head over to BagsxBird.com to learn more.
