Chromag made a gravel bike?! You heard it right. Featuring an eclectic mix of gravel and mountain bike standards, the new Chromag Strictly Business is overbuilt, off-brand, and only two are available. Check them out here…

Based out of British Columbia, Canada, Chromag Bikes has a long reputation for designing rowdy steel hardtail mountain bikes. They are at the centre of the Whistler mountain bike scene and have a cult following for a good reason. In 2021, Chromag veered slightly off-brand with the Surface Voyager, which we reviewed here, and in 2022, they released their first ever full-suspension mountain bikes. What’s next? Gravel bikes, of course.

The new Chromag Strictly Business is a super limited edition gravel bike designed strictly for business use only, and they only made two! They have no plans to mass produce them, and by the time we share this, they might already be scooped up. There are two unique builds available, but both feature a 73mm threaded bottom bracket, 31.6mm seat post, weird hub spacing (15x110mm boost front / 12x142mm rear), a 160mm front brake mount, and a 140mm flat (road) rear brake mount. The frame is made from 4130 chromoly steel tubing, comes with a matching fork, and both builds comes with an interesting mix of tire sizes, including a 2.6″ out front and a 48mm tires in the back.
