We’re kicking off our latest round of Collective Reward giveaways by offering up 20 copies of the fourth issue of our biannually printed publication, The Bikepacking Journal. We know many of our current members joined after the cutoff to receive Issue 04, while other readers of the site have yet to pledge their support by joining our Bikepacking Collective. Here’s a chance for folks in both groups to have a more complete collection for their bookshelf.
Inside The Bikepacking Journal 04:
The fourth issue of The Bikepacking Journal hit our Bikepacking Collective members’ mailboxes around the world during the height of global COVID-19 lockdowns in late spring 2020, just as most of us were needing a bit of escape more than ever.
The diverse compilation of writing and photography we presented within the 160 pages of The Bikepacking Journal 04 explored a fascinating range of themes, from hair-raising tales of perseverance, to stories of lighthearted misadventure, to meditations on culture and politics. As always, we hope this issue left readers dreaming up trips to come and discovering new meaning from past experiences.
Curious to know more about what’s inside? See details here. And if you want to get a look at the kind of stories we publish in The Bikepacking Journal, check out the web versions of Ditibised, Slow Fare, and Holiday in Transylvania, features stories from previous issues.
Bikepacking Collective membership is open to anyone, anywhere in the world, for the same price. Members are automatically entered to win regular Collective Rewards. In this special instance, only new and existing members who joined after the April 17th cutoff for Issue 04 are eligible. Not yet a member? Join the Bikepacking Collective today and you’ll be automatically entered to win a free copy of The Bikepacking Journal 04 in addition to the copies of Issues 05 and 06 you’ll receive as part of your first year’s membership.
