When it was announced last year, the gravel bike-specific MRP Baxter II was the first suspension fork we’d seen with bottle cage mounts. And while we’re still waiting on something similar for mountain bikes, we’re happy to see that MRP has continued to improve it. As we recently found out, the Baxter is now color-customizable. You can choose from 15 “ShredKOTE” color options. ShredKOTE is a ceramic and polymer finish that MRP claims is “scratch, scuff, and chemical resistant.” All colors featur a matte finish, and the black option is anodized. You can also mix and match with different crown and lower colors, as well as choose what color decals you’d like.
