Cycling With is a virtual summit celebrating women from all walks of life who have used the bicycle as a vehicle for freedom, storytelling, coping, and connection. There were live and prerecorded interviews featuring Marley Blonsky, Meryem Belkihel, Devi Lockwood, and many more. One of the most interesting talks was a panel discussion with Laura Killingbeck, Natalie Corbett, Stephanie Puello, and Janie Hayes in response to Laura’s viral piece here on the site, which weighed in on the “Man or Bear” conversation.

If you missed it, last year, a debate went viral online with women sharing their thoughts on whether they’d rather be stuck in the forest with a man or a bear. In what became one of our most widely read pieces of the year, Laura reflected on the question and added her unique perspective to the conversation as a long-term bicycle traveler who’s spent plenty of time away from civilization.
