Just announced, the new Enve Boost Mountain Fork was revamped with 110mm axle spacing, a 490mm axle-to-crown length for 120mm suspension fork replacement, and three-pack mounts for cages and accessories. ENVE just announced it’s completely revamped Mountain Fork. Prior to today, the ENVE Mountain Fork was offered as a non-Boost, 100mm option without accessory mounts. The new ENVE BOOST Mountain Fork inherits a similar one-piece carbon construction and the same adjustable axle flip-chips from its predecessor, and gets 110mm drop-out spacing, a new A-C height to match 120mm suspension forks, a removable carbon fender, and three-pack accessory mounts. “Forks have been an integral part of the ENVE business model since day one. At the time, most fork makers were pulling back or ceasing production on aftermarket carbon forks, we were just getting started. We embraced fork manufacturing because we saw that the creative lifeblood of the bike industry, the small custom frame-builder, was lacking a high-end premium fork option to complement their frames. We make forks to support custom frame-builders and discerning aftermarket customers alike,” stated VP of Product and Brand, Jake Pantone.

One of the coolest features on the new fork is not really new. Enve had it on the original Mountain Fork. The reversible rake adjustment axle drop-out chips move the axle fore and aft to adjust the fork’s offset between 44mm and 52mm, which puts the axle to crown at 490mm and 492mm, respectively. This allows riders to gain stability in the 52mm setting, or quicker handling on twisty trails in the 44mm position. It might not seem like a huge difference, but 8 millimeters is a substantial change for both the wheelbase and rake.
