The EVOC Mountain Bike Bag Pro Aims to Simplify Travel

Released today, the new EVOC Mountain Bike Bag Pro is a feature-rich travel bag designed to protect your bike and make hauling it as quick and easy as possible. Its key feature is that it doesn’t require you to remove your mountain bike’s handlebars to fit it inside; just loosen the stem and rotate the bars to be parallel with the top tube. Pop off the wheels, and away you go.

Speaking to their intent behind the Mountain Bike Bag Pro, the EVOC team writes, “We don’t condone headset cable routing, but integrated cockpits and internal cable routing are showing up on everything from XC race bikes to full-on enduro rigs. It can take a lot of extra time on either end of your trip to readjust your bars and cockpit, so we decided to fix it.” The case won awards at its debut at Eurobike in 2025, and it even took home a 2025 Design & Innovation Award.

EVOC used a rigid polycarbonate shell for support, which they say is strong and well-suited to the rigors of being tossed around by baggage handlers. Inside, your bike is secured to the included Bike Stand Pro for easier packing and a snug fit, and two padded, integrated wheel bags help to keep your hoops safe. EVOC’s Clip-On Wheel 3.0 design features dual casters that mount under the bag for easy rolling. When not in use, you can flatten the case for storage by removing the stabilizers.

The Mountain Bike Bag Pro has a volume of 330 liters and can fit bikes with a maximum wheelbase of 130 centimeters. It measures 57 x 39 x 14 inches (145 x 99 x 36 centimeters) and weighs 19.8 pounds (9 kilograms). It’s priced at a substantial $1,000 in the US market, nearly twice that of their more compact Bike Bag, which requires further disassembly.
