The new Universal model of the striking Gramm Diamond Bag mounts seamlessly to popular front racks from Nitto, Velo Orange, and Rene Herse. Find photos and details of the small Berlin brand’s innovative rando bag below…

Highly anticipated since the release of their innovative Diamond Bag last year, our friends at Gramm Tourpacking in Berlin just dropped the new Universal Diamond Bag, which is certified to work with many rando-style front racks beyond the top-tier Allygn Diamond Rack for which the original version was designed. Equipped with a modified attachment system consisting of the same heavy-duty velcro up front and a new Fidlock buckle strap in the rear to wrap around the tombstone, compatible racks include the popular Nitto M12, M18, and offerings from Velo Orange and Rene Herse with similar dimensions. We suspect it’ll play nicely with many others too.

This version of Gramm’s ultramodern rando bag retains all other features of the original, including the distinctive sloped silhouette, the clever origami-style folding lid that opens the 7.5L compartment toward the rider, easy and fool-proof Fidlock magnetic closures, and lightning-fast removal for carrying the bag off the bike with the included carrying strap. In my long-term review, I found the Diamond Bag to be supremely stable on all terrain without the need for a decaleur.
