We’re taking today off to relax with our families and get out for rides, but as we turn the page to a new year, I wanted to write a quick note of gratitude to everyone who spent a little time with us in 2025, reading, watching, sharing, and engaging in the comments. In particular, I’d like to thank our Bikepacking Collective members around the globe for powering all of our work. This independent resource and community we’ve built over the past dozen years wouldn’t exist without you.

Mapping out the next 12 months, our small team is excited for the many pieces and projects around the bend. We’ll be back with a fresh feature post and a Reader’s Rig tomorrow, and there’s a lot on the way in 2026. Expect a varied mix of in-depth bike and gear reviews, thought-provoking essays, original bikepacking routes, insightful guides, inspiring stories, and much more. For now, we’re wishing everyone a healthy and happy year, hopefully with plenty of time on the bike pedaling through beautiful places and sleeping under starry skies.
