The Nova Hip Pack from Washington-based High Above is a sleeker, pared-down version of their Lookout Pack, but has a few new tricks up its sleeve. Check it out here…

Bellingham, Washington-based High Above has created quite the reputation in the hip pack scene over the last few years. They’ve been steadily releasing new designs, their following is growing, and it’s hard to miss their packs while mountain biking in the Pacific Northwest. Their latest model, The Nova, is a pared-down version of The Lookout pack, and it’s also their most affordable hip pack yet at $90 USD.

The Nova High Above

The Nova is made from X-Pac and has an integrated water bottle pouch that folds away when not in use with the help of a low-profile Fidlock buckle. There’s a single zippered main compartment, three interior pockets, an internal key clip, and the YKK Aquaguard zipper has extra-long para-cord pulls for easy entry. There’s also a lash tab for attaching a blinky light or your favourite dangle, and High Above includes their ETC straps for securing an extra jacket or burrito-shaped snacks on the go. You have your choice of waist buckle (standard, Fidlock, or Cobra), it comes in Blue, Coyote, and Red, and you get to choose from a long list of zipper pull cord colors.
