Leker Leks x Hope Cyclery Albacore Handlebar

Both based in Pennsylvania, Hope Cyclery and handlebar maker Leker Leks have teamed up on a collaborative handlebar that is designed to be comfortable, wide, and swept-back but still totally shreddable. As Leker Leks puts it, the Leker Leks x Hope Cyclery Albacore Handlebar is “the ATB for your ATB.” The Albacore is made from 4130 Chromoly steel tubing, uses a 22.2mm clamp area (25.4mm steel shims are available free with each bar), and is finished with a phosphate conversion bath to achieve a deep charcoal coloring and enhance corrosion resistance. A family recipe of oils and waxes are then applied, inside and out, to further resist the inevitable oxidation. Surface rust will appear eventually, but will not degrade the handlebars for many years.
