Hutchinson’s New Touareg Gravel Tire

Just released, the new Hutchinson Touareg is the latest dedicated gravel tire in their lineup, which the company claims provides an effective balance of on-road performance with off-road grip and durability. The Touareg improves on Hutchinson’s Overide gravel tire for riding rougher terrain, with bigger side knobs, an overall larger volume, and wider sizes. And the small, closely spaced centre tread should keep things rolling smoothly on both gravel and paved roads. The Touareg is made with a 127 tpi casing that’s reinforced with Hutchinson’s Hardskin bead-to-bead reinforcement—the same reinforcement found on several of Hutchinson’s XC tires. The Touareg is available in a black and tan wall edition, in both 700c (up to 45mm) and 650b (up to 47mm). Scroll down for a look at Hutchinson’s spec chart.
