“In Between Lifetimes” is a video by young cyclist and racer Liam Ereneta that follows his bikepacking journey from Sea Otter to Unbound Gravel, as he tries to make sense of a transitional period in his life along the way. Watch this slow and considered video below…
In Between Lifetimes is a new video from Liam Ereneta, a young rider set on finding himself in the “liminal year” after graduating college. He jumped at the opportunity presented by his sponsor, Orbea, to bikepack between two of the biggest Lifetime grand prix races of the year—the Sea Otter Classic and Unbound Gravel.
Embarking on a journey that ultimately took him seven weeks, Liam created this video as a thoughtful reflection on leaving his life in Santa Barbara behind and finding new meaning and purpose through different forms of travel. Set to a voice-over of overarching thoughts and lessons drawn from the trip, it’s an insightful look at his experience during a more aimless period of his young life.
