Starting any minute now, Lael will attempt an unsupported time trial on the roads that follow the Trans-Alaskan Pipeline from the northernmost town in the state all the way down to the southern coast. Starting today, ultra-endurance cyclist Lael Wilcox is setting out on another big Alaskan bike ride. This time, she’s cycling a solo, unsupported time trial on the 858-mile route that parallels the Trans-Alaska Pipeline, which runs through the state north to south from Deadhorse to Valdez. The route follows gravel and paved roads and features 45,000 feet of climbing. Follow along on the Trackleaders map below. Go Lael!
