GranGuanche Audax Road is a 600-kilometer self-supported race across the Canary Islands. The organizers offer off-road variations of the event, but the Audax Road follows a paved route from Lanzarote to La Gomera. They describe it as “a collective adventure and challenge to finish the route,” rather than a race, and the entry fee is refunded to anyone who’s able to link all of the ferries together in one go. The Live Slow Ride Fast crew was out covering this year’s event and put together a documentary style film that provides an inside look at the many challenges the riders face. Watch it below.
