Ultra-endurance cyclist, bikepack racer, and Light Bicycle-sponsored athlete Meaghan Hackinen has taken the bikepacking world by storm. In 2021, she set a course record and took the overall win at the BC Epic 1000 in Canada. She was the first woman to finish the 2024 Tour Divide, and this year, Meaghan has her sights on the Mountain Race series.
Meaghan’s season opened in February with the Atlas Mountain Race in Morocco, where she was the second woman to finish. In May, she took on the formidable Hellenic Mountain Race in Greece, finishing first among women and ninth overall. The 1,954-kilometer Silk Road Mountain Race is the series finale and the last piece of Meaghan’s incredibly challenging goal. The race started four days ago, and the fastest riders are already over halfway through. Meaghan is currently sitting in the top 20 overall and is the first-place woman.
