New Men’s PEdALED Essential Collection

The Essential Collection is PEdALED’s latest spring/summer cycling kit. The line is designed to be versatile, comfortable and minimal for long days on the bike. For now they’ve just launched the men’s kit, but the women’s kit is scheduled to release next week, so stay tuned. The line includes the Essential Merino Wool Jersey and Essential Training Bib Shorts. More on both below.

Essential Merino Wool Jersey

We’re big fans of merino wool apparel for bikepacking, as it’s one of the best performing fabrics for changing weather conditions and it tends to stink much less than synthetic alternatives. The Essential Merino Wool Jersey is an ultra-lightweight short sleeve cycling jersey with a clean overall aesthetic, slim cut, and several subtle styling details. There are three reinforced cargo pockets designed to reduce sagging, even when fully loaded with spare tubes, tools or snacks. The jersey comes in six different sizes and four colors: light blue, orange, mud, and forest green.

Essential Training Bib Shorts

The Essential Training Bib Shorts are meant to be equally suited for daily training rides as massive gravel ride far from home. They are a summer-weight bib short made from recycled fibers that are breathable, moisture wicking, and quick to dry. The suspenders are made of mesh and they feature a dual-density performance chamois from Elastic Interface. Like the jersey, we appreciate their subtle detailing and classic look, which includes an embroidered Japanese logo and reflective details. The bibs retail for $174 USD and come in black or blue.
