Netherlands-based Detour Studio is looking for help naming their new 5L handlebar bag! Find out how to suggest a name here for a chance to win one of your own…

Our friend Bas Overbeek, who runs Detour Studio (@detour.studio), a small handmade bag brand out of his shop in The Netherlands, and whose Surly Ogre we featured as a Reader’s Rig back in 2019, is looking for help naming his most recent bag! Following months of prototyping and testing, he’s made a small stock of a new handlebar bag, but is stuck on figuring out what to call it.

Detour Studio ?Box

For now, Detour’s latest bag is simply called the ?Box. It’s built from Cordura, measures 25cm x 17cm x 12cm (rolled up) and offers 5L of storage, and features a Fidlock buckle closure, two small internal pockets, a large outer zippered pocket, and reinforced sides and bottom to help it keep its shape.

Bas says he’d like the word “Box” in the name, but is otherwise open to suggestions. If he picks your name idea for the bag, you’ll receive a free one as a token of appreciation, a €119,95 value. You can make your name suggestions on Instagram or right here in the comments, and we’ll make sure they get to Bas.

The ?Box is available to order now in four colors (black, dark grey, olive, and coyote) over at Detour-Studio.com.

Update 12/13/2021:

Based on a suggestion from one of our commenters below, Bas has decided to name the new bag the Detour Bento Box. Congrats to Sean, who’ll be receiving one, and thanks to everyone for your suggestions!
