The Devinci Gravel lineup is a series of new bikes from the Canadian bike company featuring a full range of modern offerings. From race-ready carbon to an e-gravel bike on an aluminum alloy frame, the updated Devinci Gravel range is worth a look…
The all-new Devinci gravel lineup includes not just one but three bikes with unique features that make them interesting offerings unto themselves. From a carbon race model to an e-gravel bike, Devinci is evidently trying to hit the entire range of popular modern offerings. All of the models listed seem based around a similar silhouette, albeit with slight tweaks to their geometry—the carbon “PRO” being the most aggressive and the E-Hatchet Tour being the least. Let’s dive into the specifics.
Devinci Hatchet PRO
A modern, carbon gravel race bike if there ever was one, the Devinci Hatchet Pro features 700 x 45mm tire clearance, integrated cable routing, and an internal storage system located on the down tube. The shape of the carbon tubes supposedly gives the bike a more aerodynamic profile and couples with the improved carbon layup to be lighter and more responsive than prior models. Equipped with a full-carbon fork, native UDH compatibility, and a 386 EVO pressfit bottom bracket, the Hatchet pro has all the hallmarks of a modern bike.
Offered in three distinct build packages stocked with SRAM Rival AXS, APEX AXS, and a mechanical GRX 600, the Hatchet Pro is a sub-20-pound gravel bike that starts at $3,399 CAD and tops out at $6,799 CAD. Not all complete build offerings—or models—are offered globally, so check your nation-specific Devinci site for specific details and availability.

Devinci Hatchet Vista
Potentially the most interesting offering in the new Devinci gravel lineup is the Hatchet Vista, an alloy frame with some geometry tweaks that make it slightly more capable loaded with bags. Though I’ve seen plenty of aluminum alloy frames with carbon forks that clear 700 x 45mm tires in my day, what really sticks out here is the price. At just $2,199 CAD ($1,799 USD), customers can get a complete Shimano CUES-equipped gravel bike with more than enough mounts for bikepacking. Though it isn’t the most inspired design, the price combined with the versatility of a frame like this one is a welcome sight.
The Hatchet Vista also comes in a slightly higher-specced GRX 610 build, which starts at $2,599 CAD ($2,099 USD). That said, the one issue I foresee with this frame is with it’s internal routing. The bend coming out at the rear derailleur looks extremely tight. With a bit of variance in how modern mechs are set up, this installation might prove problematic.

Devinci E-Hatchet Tour
Last but not least to the Devinci gravel lineup is the E-Hatchet Tour. Again, every model in the lineup has specific geometry for its use, but what stuck out to me about the E-Hatchet is the means of electrification. Where most companies these days partner with a third party for their battery integration, Devinci, still using a third party manufacturer, has opted for a design that maintains some degree of usability if you were to ditch the battery.
Though the Mahle X30 system is integrated into the frame, the main motor sits within the rear wheel’s hub. The primary battery is stored within the downtube, and controls are actuated both on frame and via their smartphone app. The E-Hatchet Tour also features a range extender that fits in the place of a bottle cage.
Theoretically, one could take the battery out of the downtube and replace the motorized rear wheel, having a regular bike if they ever decided a battery was surplus to requirements. Modularity in designs of this kind always seem a little more justifiable than bikes that are inherently tied to a motorized system.

The E-Hatchet Tour also features fork mounts for two bolt cargo cages, is fender and rear rack compatible, and has hydraulic disc brakes. Like the Hatchet Vista, the frame is made of aluminum alloy and carries over a lot of the same specs, such as a threaded T47 bottom bracket, capped thru-axles, and internal cable routing. The E-Hatchet Tour retails at $4,749 CAD ($3,699 USD).
