Goodyear Bicycle Tires recently expanded their all-terrain tire offerings, adding new configurations of existing tires, as well as an updated tread that crossed over from their mountain bike range. There are now a total of 14 different versions of all-terrain tires in the Goodyear catalog, based upon three different models. Find a quick overview of all their updated tires below.

Goodyear Connector

Goodyear’s popular Connector is designed as a fast-rolling, highly tractable tire that can handle a bit of everything. It has a tread pattern with tightly spaced center knobs and aggressive side knobs. The Connector is now offered with tan sidewalls in addition to the classic black sidewall version, and it’s available in four sizes: 700C x 35mm, 700C x 40mm, 700C x 50mm, and 650B x 50mm.

Goodyear County

The Goodyear County pairs an efficient tread pattern with a high-volume, robust construction, designed for rolling over any road with its widely spaced side knobs for better handling on looser surfaces and smooth center tread for minimal resistance. The County is now available with tan sidewalls alongside the original black sidewall version, and the range has been expanded to include two new sizes: 700C x 40mm and 650B x 50mm.

Goodyear Peak

Goodyear says its Peak is where “cross-country grip meets drop bar performance.” As a crossover from the Peak tire in the mountain bike range, the new all-terrain Peak features an optimized tread pattern that’s designed to roll better over a variety of surfaces. Its design incorporates staggered, ramped center knobs and mid-tread for reduced rolling resistance, along with large outer knobs with wide spacing to offer grip on more challenging terrain. The Peak is now offered in black or tan sidewall in an all-new 700C x 40mm size to round out the expanded all-terrain range.

Goodyear Bicycle Tire Technology

Every tire and model across the all-terrain range features Goodyear’s latest technology, including:

  • R:Shield: An under-tread belt to offer excellent puncture protection while allowing the tire to remain supple to maximize performance and comfort.
  • Dual Angle Bead: A proprietary bead design provides a better initial seal against the rim bed for tubeless setup while also providing superior air retention at full inflation pressures, combined with multi-compound air-tight material layer.
  • Dynamic Silica4: A compound blended with a high Silica content to maximize wet weather grip and longevity.

Availability

The Connector is shipping now and the County and all-terrain version of the Peak are expected to begin shipping in April. Keep an eye on GoodyearBike.com for additional details on the entire line.
