Ibis’ Ripley has always looked like a pretty good full-suspension bikepacking rig. Released today, the 3rd generation model adds 2.6″ tire clearance and slightly more aggressive geometry…
The carbon 29″ Ibis Ripley has been around for a few years and I’ve always admired it as a good candidate for a great full-suspension bikepacking bike. It has a nice stance, adequate frame-space (for a full-sus triangle), under downtube bottle mounts, and Ibis’ damn near perfect iteration of DW-Link. Upping the ante, the 3rd Generation Ibis Ripley was released today and also got a few tweaks including room for 2.6″ (Schwalbe) tires (2.5″ Maxxis). Personally, I like the “Ti-Ho Silver” gray version, although some might prefer the “Vitamin P” yellow. Pics and video from Ibis below. Learn more at IbisCycles.com.
