In case you missed it, we’ve been slowly rolling out some big site improvements over the past few months, and have plenty more to come. Learn more about what’s new here…

If you hadn’t noticed, we’ve been quietly improving the website over the last few months. Among the latest updates is a new navigation that improves the overall tablet and laptop browsing experience. The new menu under the EXPLORE tab now provides granular options to drill down into several expanded and reworked categories, allowing better sorting to dig into body of work that spans more than nine years and 4,000 posts. We’ve also updated the mobile navigation and recategorized a lot of our content for better organization.

Additionally, we added a feature to display relevant pages, posts, and routes in a grid at the bottom of selected articles, something that’s been on the list for a long while. Instead of the (frankly unintelligent) AI-esque algorithm that’s commonly used for such functionality, we built ours from scratch, allowing us to manually specify relevant content that we think is most fitting.

We have a lot more updates coming soon, including a few upgrades for logged-in members, expanded location/map browsing (which we mentioned a couple of months ago), and further improvements to our routes pages. Stay tuned!
