Nicolai Bikes just added a gearbox gravel bike to the Argon GX range. The Argon GX Pinion features a sliding dropout and two different Pinion gearbox options. Learn more here.

Back in February, Germany-based NICOLAI Bikes released its Argon GX, the company’s first official gravel bike (coverage here). The Argon GX clears 700C x 45mm or 650B x 50mm tires with a 7020-T6 aluminum frame that features several complex milled parts, including the seat stay yoke, a combined bottom bracket/chain stay yoke, and dropouts, all made possible via NICOLAI’s “Hollow Mill” technology. Today, Nicolai added a gearbox version to the Argon GX range. The Argon GX Pinion has the same geometry and features as the Argon GX, but with sliding dropouts, a Pinion/Gates drivetrain, and rack and fender mounts, it’s geared more toward touring, trekking, and bikepacking.
