Madrid, Spain-based Nordest Cycles has quite a few steel and titanium bikes in their lineup these days. They’re best known for the Sardinha dirt-touring platform, but their Albarda gravel bike has been in the company’s range for six or seven years, seeing a few rounds of updates in both steel and titanium. That includes the Super Albarda that we reviewed a couple of years ago. The latest iteration, the titanium Nordest Albarda GT, got a complete new look and several interesting features. Read on for details.

The Albarda GT gets a whole new frame with a complete redesigned look and fresh geometry. The frame is manufactured from Ti3Al2.5V double-butted Titanium tubing featuring a new 3D-printed right chainstay designed to maintain a short 420mm chainstay length and have clearance for 27.5 x 2.1” or 700C x 50mm tires.

The Albarda GT kit comes with a Chris King Aero 3 headset that allows fully internal cable routing for both a front and rear derailleur, a dropper seat post, and the front and rear brake calipers. According to Nordest, this ensures correct clearance for the rear tire. The kit also includes the Nordest Albarda Carbon fork that was designed specifically for this frame and is compatible with any frame made for 400mm forks. The fork has an adjustable 47/52mm rake, provisions for flat mount brakes, fender mounts, and can accommodate a 700C x 55mm tire with plenty of clearance, according to Nordest.
