Just announced, the new Nordest Cycles 3003 is the brand’s vision of what a flat-bar gravel bike should be. Designed to be compatible with SRAM UDH mount rear derailleurs, there were just 50 frames made of this limited-edition steel bike. Find all the details here…
The Nordest Cycles 3003 is the brand’s latest model, and it offers something a bit different from the Sardinha, their rugged bikepacking bike. The 3003 is designed to have a smooth ride suited for commuting and comfortable light touring. The frame is built with double-butted 4130 chromoly steel tubing and has clearance for 27.5 x 2.1” or 700C x 50mm tires. It can be purchased as a frame only, with a color-matched steel fork, or with the carbon Albarda fork that fits slightly bigger 700C x 54mm tires. Find specs and geometry below.

Designed by the brand’s founder and owner, Pedro Jerónimo, the Nordest 3003 has a flat-bar specific geometry that was conceived to be fun and fast for gravel riding. It looks similar to the Albarda, particularly the 420mm chain stay length, but it has a slightly slacker head tube. Pedro mentioned that the 3003 isn’t for racing. Instead, “It’s more about enjoying life on two wheels.” He also stated that the frame has a long reach specific for a 50mm stem, although the reach numbers still aren’t that long for a flat-bar bike, according to their chart. Here’s the full geometry based on the carbon Albarda fork with a 400mm axle-to-crown length and 52mm offset. Note that the numbers should shift a hair with the longer 410mm steel fork.
