OneUp Components just released an extra-long 240mm dropper post and a short 70mm option, providing options for taller riders looking to get as much travel as possible, or situations where an ultra-short dropper is needed. Learn more about it here…
OneUp Components’ dropper posts are known to have some of the shortest stack height and total length out there, so it’s no surprise to see them taking long-travel dropper posts to the next level with the new 240mm and 90mm length options, expanding the range to include posts in 90, 120, 150, 180, 210, and 240mm lengths. Plus, all of their posts can be shimmed down in travel by 10mm or 20mm to tune your fit and get the most drop possible, making the total range from 70mm to 240mm.
Since the launch of their 210mm dropper, taller riders have been asking OneUp for a longer option. This is especially useful as seat tube lengths shorten and longer posts are needed. The 240mm posts is recommended for riders 6 foot (183cm) or taller, or anyone on L to XXL frames. According to OneUp, the 90mm dropper is the shortest dropper post on the market, with the shortest total length and stack height. It’s perfect for anyone riding XS frames, kids’ bikes, gravel bikes, or frames with short interrupted seat tubes. See a spec breakdown of their entire dropper post lineup below.
The overall design of OneUp’s dropper posts remains the same, although the 240mm post has increased bushing overlap and all posts now feature a sealed cartridge cap. The internal cartridge is user-replaceable for $69.50 USD, and the posts are simple to service at home (I can vouch for this, as I just did a complete service on my V2 post) and come with a two-year warranty. The 240mm dropper posts are available now and the 90mm posts will be available later this summer.
