San Francisco-based Ornot just released a new waterproof softshell jacket with a zip-out insulated vest for maximum versatility. Find specs, photos, and a short video introducing the new Ornot Trail Magic Jacket here…

Based on their popular Magic Shell Jacket, the new Trail Magic Jacket from California’s Ornot (@ornotbike) features the first combination of Polartec NeoShell and removable Polartec Alpha Direct insulation that we’ve seen. The jacket’s outer shell is constructed from highly breathable, waterproof Polartec NeoShell fabric for a stretchy softshell that offers the water-shedding performance of a hardshell. Inside, there’s a removable Polartec Alpha Direct vest, which can be removed and worn as a layer of its own, used in tandem with the jacket, or removed entirely, making the Trail Magic Jacket quite a versatile three-in-one system that can be fine-tuned depending on the conditions.
