We’re thrilled to see that San Francisco-based apparel brand Ornot just released a women’s version of their popular Lightweight Mission Shorts, a favorite among the team. Check them out here…
California cycling apparel brand Ornot has been busy adding a wave of new women’s items to its lineup, and the latest Women’s Lightweight Mission Shorts are particularly exciting. Ornot released a men’s version two years ago, and they have quickly become a favorite for both Lucas and me. I’ve logged well over 3,000 kilometers in my original pair, and they’re only just starting to show signs of wear at a few seams. I liked the fit so much that I picked up a second pair last fall. They are my go-to shorts for everything warm weather, whether I’m riding bikes, hanging with friends, or honing my tennis skills. Lucas bought two pairs as well and wears them on nearly every ride.

The Ornot Women’s Lightweight Mission Shorts share all the same promising features. They’re sewn in Oakland, California from a Bluesign-approved recycled four-way stretch fabric (85% Nylon/15% Elastane), the waistband has a stretchy elastic construction, and the gusseted crotch helps eliminate unwanted seams. They have a 7.5″ inseam, come in sizes XS to XL, and have four pockets, two with zippers.
The Women’s Lightweight Mission Shorts cost $126, come in a single obsidian color, and are available now from OrnotBike.com.
